How to submit each type

๐Ÿ”—

Submitting a suspicious link or URL

From an emailRight-click the link โ†’ "Copy Link Address" โ€” never click it. Paste the full URL here.
From a text / SMSLong-press the link โ†’ "Copy Link" โ€” do not tap to open. Paste the copied URL.
From a QR codePoint your camera to preview the URL in the notification bar, then manually paste it here. Never open it.
From a browserIf already open, copy the full URL from the address bar, then close the tab immediately.

Never shorten, retype, or modify the URL before submitting โ€” we need the full original including all query parameters. Shortened links (bit.ly, t.co) should be pasted as received.

Submitting a suspicious message

EmailCopy the entire message body and subject line. Expand the sender name to reveal the actual email address and include it in the sender field.
SMS / textCopy the full message text. Note the phone number or sender name shown. Do not click any links before or after submitting.
WhatsApp / TelegramLong-press to copy the full message text. Note the phone number or username. Include whether it came from a group chat.
Social media DMScreenshot and copy the text. Note the platform, account name, and whether the account is verified or new.

Paste the complete message โ€” not just the suspicious part. Scam indicators are often in phrasing and context that is only visible when reading the whole message.

Reporting a suspicious phone call

The caller numberCheck your recent calls list and copy the exact number โ€” including country code. Even if it looked legitimate, paste it in.
What they claimedNote the exact name, company, and job title they gave. Also note what they asked you to do โ€” transfer money, install software, read codes.
Any callback numberIf they gave you a number to call back "to verify" โ€” do not call it, but paste it into the callback number field.
If you compliedIf you transferred money or gave out codes, select Urgent and also contact your bank fraud line immediately. Time is critical.

If you transferred any money or gave out banking login codes during the call, contact your bank's fraud line first โ€” before submitting here. Do not delay.

How to submit a file safely

From emailRight-click the attachment โ†’ Save As โ€” do NOT double-click to open. Upload directly from the save location.
From a downloadNavigate to your downloads folder and upload without opening. A malicious PDF can execute code just by being opened.
From a messaging appUse "Save to Files" or "Download" within the app, then upload from there โ€” never open it first.
If it asked for a passwordFiles that arrive with a password in the same message are a common scanning bypass trick. Include this in the context field.

If the file prompted you to Enable Macros, Enable Editing, or Enable Content โ€” note this in the context field. This is the most common ransomware delivery method.
